I am the grandmother of a 4 1/2 year old boy, Kevin, who has Down Syndrome. He lives with my husband and I, as his dad, my son, also. Kevin's mother went back to her home state of Washington shortly after Kevin's birth because she could not handle Kevin having Down Syndrome. I as well as my husband are little people, Kevin is almost my size now. I am beginning to have difficulty handling him, he wanders, his dad works during the day. I heard about this site from the Indiana Down Syndrome Foundation and thought I would give it a try. I'm anxious to see about some resources that I might be able to look into, now and in the future.
